Flora and Fauna: Traffic ban at Hovedfeltet & Veslefeltet to protect the nesting of peregrine falcons

The climbing fields in question are the «Hovedfeltet» and «Veslefeltet» (cf. Climbing Guide for Oslo and the surrounding area 2013), ie the fields from the northern end of Hauktjern and northwards. There is a traffic ban in the area from Friday 20 March to 15 July.

The biggest crag around with many routs of all grades. Sport and trad.

Approach

Easiest approachable by bike from Ulsrud station. By way of "Nøklevann" it is about 10-15 min ride. Park the bike by the ruins and hike the last 3 min up to the crag
