Reciprocal Links Program
You can now link (for free) into www.thecrag.com's climbing community and global index of climbs, by participating in thecrag.com's Reciprocal Link Program.
You can add you website to the list of links for any climbing area in the world. To do this you must be a member of thecrag.com. Once a member you can navigate to the area (crag, state, province, country or worldwide) to which you want to add a link to your site. Click on the tab link titled 'Links'. Click on the 'add your website' link.
You can associate your links with up to two categories from the following list:
- Guidebooks
- Climbing Gyms
- Magazines
- Photography
- Websites
- Stores
- Guiding & Instruction
- Resoles & Repairs
- Health
- Accomodation
- Eating Out
- Gear
- Tourism & Travel
- Other
Once added, your link should appear on the list of links for that area. You can update your details on line by clicking the "edit" link just below your title. You can also tell the climbing community what's new about your site by clicking the "what's new" link. The "What's New" field will appear below your description in a different color for up to 3 months.
www.thecrag.com's climbing community can explore links in any climbing area, under specific categories, by what's new, and by popularity. Note that popularity is measured by outbound referrals across the whole site.
If you participate in our paid business directory your information will be automatically included in the links program. Paid listings have a bold title link followed by a '*'.
If you are a participating publisher, your information will be automatically included in the links program.
If you want to be included in our Crag Snapshot publication, you must list in the business directory (contact support@thecrag.com for details).
Participation in the Reciprocal Links Program requires that you provide a reciprocal link to thecrag.com on your website. If this is not possible you can still have your links included by listing in the business directory.
The Reciprocal Links Program has been provided under good faith, abuse of the program may result in you being permanently disbarred.
