Description
The Lechquellen Mountains (German: Lechquellengebirge) or Lechquellen range is a small mountain group within the Northern Limestone Alps of the Eastern Alps. It lies entirely within the Austrian state of Vorarlberg and includes the upper reaches of the river Lech with its headstreams in a horseshoe shape as well as the Upper Großwalsertal valley.

Approach
From Bregenz take the A14 until you reach the exit "Arlbergpass". Keep right and follow the road towards the pass. Follow the signs to Zürs/Lech. In Lech turn right into direction Zug.
From Innsbruck take the A14 until you reach the exit "Arlbergpass". Drive through St. Anton and follow the road over the pass. The follow the signs to Zürs/Lech. In Lech turn right into direction Zug.
Note that the road from Zug to the Spullersee and Formarinsee is closed from 8:00 until 17:00. Leave your car in Lech and use the bus from the Postamt. Before 08:00 and after 17:00 the road is open to the public but you have to pay toll.
