An extensive gorge with similar ambience to Dongming Xiang shigoudong although a bit more remote. Mostly undeveloped.
Access issues
Tolerated
No known restrictions although some cliffs have tea plantations at base so belay with respect.
Approach
Gentle
30-45 min
Park in Chanzhicun where the Tea meets the Bamboo and walk north. Follow the edge of the bamboo for 10mins and then when the gully appears on R follow it down into the gorge. Walk left to find the developed area and cross the river at stepping stones. The riverside trail is marked by plenty of red and yellow ribbons. Where to stay
As with Dongming Xiang shigoudong - stay in Xinchang or camp under the crag. Jinjiang Inn is clean and cheap.
