Ascents of Fox Force 5

Thought this was actually an ok climb. Nice to practise climbing on carrots; we don't get that a lot in Queensland.

Great little arete.

Had me pumped, carrots scare me

First outdoor climb in the blue mountains. Taters! 7 degrees with a 'feels like of -2

Seems contrived to stay just on the left of the Arete, also unfortunately didn't really use the crack feature

Stuck to the face and crack for the bottom half. Fun hand jams!

Stuffed that up! Climbed the crack instead of the arete. Pumped out coming out of the overhang at top.

tricky in sections, great arete climbing! BD .75 fits in well

Cold in the winters afternoon! good climbing. take a medium cam.

Really cool climbing trying to hold in the barn door

Great feature, although I wasn't focused and was lucky to make it up.

Really nice arete with weird positions! Stay right. Def not a sports climb, you need a small cam.

Not a bad climb for the area... Not sure if the McDougall out to the arete is in but its not 17 straight up
