awesome climb! i grabbed the edge up & left of the finger lock but my foot slipped off as i was reaching up into the undercling that i clip the anchors from!! had some more shots but didnt have the juice...next time

a bit sandy but will clean up nicely. the best climb on middle wall so far! knock off a couple grades and all the stars if you are tall...

can set up a bivy on most of the holds, the 3rd hold on the climb was way spoogey so i did a 'community service' and sat on the rope to brush it then came back down and got it 1st shot

i tried this AGES ago and thought it was quite hard for the grade, that was when i was fresh, and the climb became something i walked past every day i was at the glen for almost a year and thought ' yeh i'll do that one day'. after a 2 week climbing trip, at the end of a full day of hard labouring on tony's poperty, and with a belly full of beer, i cruised it first shot this time and thought it was soft! go figure?!

with a pack! i was a bit disappointed though because i couldnt go through the chimney thing with a pack on so i had to skirt it for a few metres onto the (harder) slab

the guide says its 21, now it isperfectlyin my style so take itwitha grain of saltbuti did it in the rain, without stick clipping, 9thclimb of the day, and it still felt more like 19!! having said that, it was a lot of fun!

ive got a bit of history with this climb!! it was the first climb i ever tried outdoors (on lead!) and i must have had about 15 shots over the last year and a bit, finally got it today in the summer heat

pretty cool! found a free draw on one of the bolts, tell me what type of draw and what bolt and its yours

felt a couple grades harder because my body was so wrecked but probably quite soft for the grade

good fun in that heat, a nice change from sydney (where the whole climb would have been overa few metres before the first bolt here). i copped a bleeder on the sternum because the jugs were so big they smacked into my chest on the way up!!

had 4 shots on monday and got SO CLOSE!but i came back today and got it first shot, my first 22! awesome!

bloody stellar route- on the onsight attempt i darndoored off on the last more of the crux before the jug haul till the end! did the top half of the crux on toprope on the way down, but left the draws on to get back to it and never did. another day! 24/11/04- two shots, one balancy move stands between me and the redpoint.

last serious climb of the day. classic, pumpy and full of surprises! on the onsight shot i got in line with the last bolt and went to grab a draw off my harness but spooged out of the monodish thing. would be a 20/21 if you were very tall and could reach the jugs to the left (or even dyno!), but for us mere mortals its quite a 'bag!

didn't like the top section (just traverses across to TUA anchors- would like to tsee it go to the top of the cliff & have its own LO's (but a fun and worthwhile expedition all the same)

thought it was very hard until realised that i was on unguarded moment and hadnt travesred across when i shouldve-very sketchy! got to above the anchors and had a fun time trying to stick to the slopers on the topout, ended up using the anchor ring as a foothold

w/Jess Tam, Ashley & Devaki coming up behind us. awesome work roger, just needs a bit of traffic to clean it up

took a few trie but i managed the long (at least 10 minutes) coveted second ascent- nice one rod!
