Ascents in Enchanted Rock as various tick types by CJ Albrecht

This would be a great climb for a beginner. It's long and you can almost walk up it. I didn't like the start of the 2nd pitch. You had to crawl over a boulder that looks like it could fall at any time and then grab a flake you could feel flexing in your hands. The 2nd pitch was real short.

This was a cool route! I had to do a little traverse under a roof that is hanging down alittle bit.

This crack is just to the left of Bastards' Moan. It is just big enough to get your fingers in the crack. I used the same crack to place my feet which made it real hard because it is slightly leaning to the right, and made me feel like I was going to fall over the whole time I was climbing it. When you get to the top you can either step right to the Bastards' Moan anchors or you can follow the crack to the left going towards Army Route.

This was my first trad lead on March 8. I took a fall after passing the first peice of pro, about a 6 footer. I about crapped in my pants because I've never take a fall even on sport routes. This route was big fun.

This was a short little crack, but big fun.

This was a bad ass slab, face climb. It felt like there was nothing to hold onto with your hands or feet. It starts just to the left of Sweat and goes to the same anchors. It's a toprope only route.

This was a fun crack but I almost ran out of big enough cams before the crack got smaller. I had to down climb and readjust my cams to make it to the smaller crack at the top.

This was a fun slab, face climb. You had to make a few hairy moves then you would get to a solid hold then make a few more hairy moves to the next solid hold. It was like that all the way to the top.

This was my first aid route. There was only 1 small cam and the rest was micro nuts. I fell just before I got to the top and then pulled off cause it was getting too late. Aid climbing rocks!!
