Ascents climbed between 2014-07-01 and 2014-09-30 as various tick types by Cameron Semple

Way more enjoyable than I thought it would be (on second ). Top section was pretty nails hard. Brilliant, ballsy lead by Tom with limited big gear.

Warm Up

First onsight at the grade. Brilliant bridging and jambing. Didn't have enough hex's, takes heaps.

Setting a TR. So hard to grade these but I thought it was a bit stiff for a 5. Not many positive holds.

Nice. Some balancy moves up around the last bolt.

Setting a TR. Once again thought there were some tricky bits for the grade but who knows.

Really nice. Maybe a bit soft for the grade. Heaps of good holds amongst the conglomerate that looks like it is all about to fall off (but doesn't...yet).

Awesome. Great 3D moves up the chimney.

Still found this tough and sustained, but managed to stubbornly plug my way to the top.

Wow. Glad I hopped on this for a go on second. Sorry about the blood everywhere now. Tore open my finger on the first move... Stunning route.

Scary lead by Tom with only 1 #4 and no bigger. Great route though, with mixed slab and crack climbing.

As per other comments. 14? Not likely. Scary slab runout near the bottom and I made another for myself transferring to the left hand crack/flake system closer to the top. Blowing a gale.

Felt like we were climbing in the arctic. Blowing a gale and light rain. Great route in a stunning position. Eagles and Peregrines flying overhead. One rest leading the first pitch. Eats #1-#3 C4's.

The guide is dead on for this one. Had a few awkward falls below the first ledge before figuring it out. Beautiful crack climbing above.

Great climb. Harder than Side-pocket Shot I thought. First time back on this in ages.

Maybe 17 if you do less bridging off HDZ and use less of its crack for hands.

Yes!! Super proud to red point this classic. C30 challenge 6 of 6! Was blowing hard after the crux. Recomposed enough on the ledge to finish up the beautiful moves above.

Good climb. Pulled a very tempting but very loose jug off around the second last bolt and brought it down with me.

Probably a bit tricky for the grade. Bailed onto SRO near the top when it started raining since I knew the moves better.

Top moves are interesting.

Absolutely stunning! Start was hard, the rest was pure joy with amazing finger locking and jambing on grippy rock.
