Not a bad pitch at all

incredible climbing and position, but the poxy trad start and over bolted top half was weird. could be nicer with sport the whole way and some spacing up high.

This thing is epic, should really be the default way to finish lamplighter, great gear and moves and matches the style of the second pitch really well. the "usual" third pitch to lamp lighter is a shitty pikers variant in comparison

Definitely one of the strangest pitches of climbing ive been on. proper journey through time and space. spend maybe 1.5hrs on it milking the rests. weird but good gear, lots of double rack in 0.1-#1 plus a single three is all you need but a couple medium nuts could be handy. triple 0.75 and 0.5 is nice too. made if off only 3 min late to my zoom meeting

As far as easy watchtower routes go, this thing is all time, great intro to smooth slabbing

Incredibly good climbing, very committing start and some bold moves on the end of P2. bring lots of huge runners if you want to protect it without insane rope drag. lots of cams in the 0.4 - 0.5 range. and a few decent nuts too. Used a #2 at one point but really, doubles up to #1 is ok, two couple still be nice. no need for anything bigger though

only first pitch barefoot, good fun, nice jams looks hard to protect down low but i wasnt really looking for it

just the first 50m to access harlyquin, the rest of it looks a lot better

First pitch was great, one of the best 11's at the mount, the second and third were pretty standard arapiles jug hauls though, nothing to write home about

not everyones cup of tea, but man, going ground up on a new route on the seacliffs and managing to top out, even with some aid, thats a cool feeling

Downclimb

Good fun, good gear and reasonably good rock. Took about an hour a pitch and then another 3hrs when the tyrollen rope pulled a huge block off onto itself and squashed the end, trapping it on the candlestick. Make sure you keep the tails short, 20m tails can really Fuck up your day.
