Ascents as various tick types as trad by Wuji

I did this one pretending to lead, with Bec 'lead' belaying and Roscoe top-rope belaying with a bit of slack. I didn't think I'd be able to do lead it, but actually managed to place decent gear. I hope I can try it again properly on lead another time.

This was great. I've been wanting to do this for years... I found the traverse on the second pitch a bit terrifying. Luckily after that it was less scary. Great lunch spot on a massive ledge in the shade with lovely views before we did the last pitch.

Pleased I made it up this one.

First climb in a long time... Did it on top rope. Good one to start off with.

Climbed Running Crack and then the second pitch of Marmalade

Did first part of Denethor and then swapped to Ivory Coast. It was a really enjoyable climb and was quite varied. Had to contend with a few bushes and it was often quite run out so I was pleased not to be leading it!

Tricky moves at the start and then it gets much easier. Needed to have several rests on the rope after the initial moves and could then complete the climb without any more rests.

A really varied and fun climb! Managed to second it clean and most of the gear placement spots I was pretty comfortable in but I would habe been pretty nervous at the crux if I had been on lead! Something to aspire to!

This was a really enjoyable climb for learning to lead on. It had great gear placement options with almost a guaranteed ledge to stand on for every placement! I led both pitches but set up belay stations a bit before traditional spots in the middle and at the top so Jackie led up the scrambles to the real belay spots which meant we could 'swing leads'.

Felt pretty comfortable on this one. Thankfully don't have to do proper crack climbing

Return to leading trad... Didn't manage to do any trad since Araps this time last year. Good to get my head around placing gear/anchors again.

Jack led the first pitch, I led the second and Jack led the third. Another really enjoyable climb.

A lovely climb with great spots to place gear. Startee raining on the way up.

I managed it clean but was really unco going over the bulge... My foot slipped and I flailed about a bit. Awesome pistol grip there. Would like to try this again and do it with a little bit of style.

A long walk in and we ended up with not enough time.... ended up doing the final pitch in the dark which was an experience. It was pretty seeing the lights of Canberra and the moon was lovely!
