Rock wasn't that bad, and the holds are jugs. Light on for the grade, but you're going to get pretty hurt if you fall off! Haha

I only had an hour to work it and the weather was closing in. I was having a tough time with the dyno and I knew my attempts were running out. I pulled on one last time, blood seeping through the tape on my fingertips, sprinkles of rain coming down around me, I emptied my mind, and BAM! Dyno stuck, Mabel going berserk licking my face as I topped out, the usual shouts of joy poured out, and a passing mountain bike rider gave a fist pump and a grin. Perfect end to a great weekend!

Great climb with zen top out. Couldn't reach the good crimp from the foot nubas I'd planned but went ok. Maybe soft for grade? Haven't climbed enough slab boulders to know.

If you climb this as per the topo on here and in the book, it's just a couple of hard moves then easy through the middle and top. Not 24.

Climbing straight up the slab without the holds on the right arête, would be significantly harder than 24 I think?

The hard moves are all on the first bolt with ground fall consequence, so pre clipped the second bolt.

So stoked to finally send this. It took a much longer battle than the grade would suggest. But I could feel it coming in the air tonight.

Big shout out and thanks to Gwyn for all the belays. It sucks that an over enthusiastic belay on my part during a slip pulled you off what might have been your pink point. Yours will go next time definitely!

Good fun route. Mantle and then top out are highlights.

Same joys of the mantle and top out of Insider Trading, but with the additional joy of the fun crux at the bottom. Soft 23.

This was really enjoyable. The beached mantle to get on top of the boulder was my favourite bit.
