Ascents in Barrington (Gosnells) Quarry as various tick types by Kym Campbell

Dogged the onsight. In spite of the nerve-racking move past the first bolt, and the long run out to the fat carrot, I liked this and would come back to it.

Another golden Barrington 21. Confusing but rewarding climbing with some great moves, and consistent to the end.

Took 3 attempts. Pretty hard, especially making the last clip before the anchors, but great climbing.

Returned for the send. Great climb. Some say it rivals Real Life Ambition for the quality of the climbing. But perhaps not many.

Quite good. Pleasant wandering climb through the lower 2/3, then the crux is at the top. Got shut down for a while, but there's a good recovery ledge to retreat to, and I eventually pulled through with some desperation.

Decent warm up.

Thought about calling this a retro flash, but I remember the first part a bit too well to justify that. Tried it a couple of years ago when I thought it was Incinerator (which was graded 20 at the time) and fell at the 5th bolt. Seemed much more straightforward today. Nice route, well bolted. Another good morning at Barrington.

Dogged the onsight attempt by falling at one of the very few places I didn't think I was going to. Excellent, pumpy, gym style climbing with an especially insecure finish. I'll be back for the tick, and because it's fun.

Very good warm up. Easy start, balancy crux.

I thought I'd been on this before, but it was the 23 to the left that I tried and fell off a while ago. This is a great, long route with a few tricky sections, mostly preceded by good rests. This wall is much better than I had thought.

Fell once on the onsight attempt, finished clean. Got it next time, though with an unscheduled interruption when a foothold broke off at the start. This is a terrific climb with a very technical bottom section that gets juggy and friendly higher up. Highly recommended.

Balancy, enjoyable climbing. Worth a look.

Was going to do it properly, but we decided to bail so I just toproped it. Not particularly memorable.

Tried this one a few times before, now I don't have to do it again. It's ok, but it is not a 2 star climb.

Short, unremarkable, no loweroffs. Not a lot to recommend it, really.

Quite good. Tough at the bottom, with some tricky weight transitions and long reaches on slopers. Worth coming back to.

Was looking forward to seconding this, but pulled the wrong end of the rope through the anchors of Richard Caranium and ended up having to lead it on pre-placed gear. Fortunately everything looked good.

Fell at the first bolt on the onsight attempt. Got up ok next try. Decent slab route. The crux is at the bottom.

It's like Short Circuit at Statham's, but better.

Requires some thought and commitment. Interesting climbing, but loses some points for the gravel and clay topout.

Surprisingly technical for the grade, or maybe I was just doing it wrong. Short.

Excellent protection, good footwork makes life easier.

Nice climbing, well protected with small and medium gear. I'd give it a star. The topout is barely worth it, might as well finish at the loweroffs of Richard Caranium.
