Our first climb at Mt Kaputar. Nice

This was one heluva climb. Atmospheric and wild. It took quite a bushbash to find the route (you can no longer drive to described parking, so we parked directly SW). The arete is more SE than S. It took an hour to walk directly in (we located the base of the climb the day before), started at sunrise (530) and were back at the car ~2-3pm (with some stops along the way). The climb is harder than a grade 5, I'd suggest 8-10. It's not hard but there were a few small spicey moves (a mini roof, a ledge that you traverse out and around a boulder) - unless I went offroute?! But the most intimidating is the descent. There was some sketchy downclimbs and we used the dodgy rope still hanging in the south gully, and finally slung a tree for the last 30m. Overall, the climb is classic but take care on descent.

Combined with Ivory Coast, made for a lovely day out. Ivory Coast is beautiful albeit a bit too much lichen; it needs more traffic!

Vent crack was average but the link up with Baryon was very nice. Swing leads with Arius.

Excellent! I think this is my favourite arapiles multi pitch yet. I enjoyed the first pitch so much I overshot the traverse out to the belay by ~5m and the fourth pitch was run out but still fun. P 1 & 4 Natasha. P2 & 3 Arius.

Holy moly! Quite varied & very enjoyable except the roof freaked me out. Arius finished the roof (we split P3). But struggling out with a backpack is really not pleasant P1 & P3 (roof) Arius. P2 & P3 (until the roof) Natasha

a sunday stroll up a slab. Luckily as there are only ~5 places to put gear (not counting the belay chains). First pitch was almost a solo.

a real beauty! Exciting for the grade. The 2nd pitch is fun, pulling up over the block/flake. Don't go up the wide flaring crack above the tree, the route is more on the right.

Awesome! Has everything- exposure, traverse, choose your own adventure finish. We did trad finish with slight variant onto 17. P1, 3 +4, 6 Natasha. P2, 5, 7 Arius.

My first climb in the ACT. Slipppery when wet. There was a small stream along route on account of heavy rains the day before! but still a great climb

Not recommended! Watch out for loose rock, wasp nests (lots!) and a very scratchy descent through prickly shrub. Came out filthy and scratched up.

Far out, this climb was AWESOME! Although, first pitch was hairy - take a bolt plate for the carrot half way up! There are also no bolts at 1st belay, despite what 2015 guide says.
