Super easy fun, the jugs rails would be amazing if they were on a steeper angle. The little chimney finish scrubbed up nicely for something a bit different

Cruisy and flowly and a delight, just like impunity but more consistent. A #3 works in the first horizontal but a #4 is better

One hard move and you're on the way, another lovely additional to the family

Nice little layback. Used the big foot out right, should eliminate that next time. Might also be a caving squeeze under the whole boulder to check out after cleaning out the dead black berries

Yet another sick little problem that appeared out of nowhere on rock that I've scoured many times. Lots of core and bicep action, very happy to do it first go

This is probably the best route on the boulder and I have a feeling the back of this was vegetated and has been cleaned up in the drought then flood cycle

It's funny that this was the first thing we imagined on this rock, but then got so obsessed with the traverse we only did this today, and still only as an afterthought. But it is an obvious warmup for the full traverse, and is still a worthy problem in its own right.

Delicious and slightly easier than I was hoping. The top out over the water is no big deal at all

We'd eye this off while bouldering underneath it so didn't have a great sense of scale and thought it would be mostly offwidth and I was keen due to my hand still not being ready for crimping. It ended up climbing quite nicely, it felt like a small segment of a much larger multi pitch

Decide we couldn't leave this total gem undone. Will make a great lower grade classic with just a taste of highball exposure.

A great wind down after all the hype of Kachoong. Relaxed arvo climb watching the birds of prey, and the moon rise on dusk and just soaking it up and avoiding thinking that we'll need to go home soon.

Great little route to access the Tannin ledge. While setting up for Tannin and eating some food my helmet took a small tumble which then escalated and fell all the way to the ground. It didn't seem to noticed.

I'd been slightly off ever since I left home, felt worse this morning and you know it's bad when a grade 10 knocks you around

Second pitch was great though as soon as I got warmed up, and the chimney finish was right up my alley, weird semi-caving stuff

Another super fun classic. I linked 3 & 4 together. Met a school group at the top. First experience of going down the chains which was a little hair raising. Back at car at 3:30

I lead this as a single pitch. Super fun. The start was a little weepy, and there was a light drizzle as I topped out. When we rapped off the brand new doubles, we had some pretty kinky tails to unwind.
