Ascents as Flash or Top rope flash by Brendan Heywood

I remember being freaked out watching Ben on this but this time it just seemed like no big deal looking up at it. You absolutely do not want to fall but it might even be a V0.

The boulder start to this is really cool

I was originally going to do the real easy far right zig zag but got a bit sketched by the levitating arch. It seems solid but I definitely won't be putting gear near it. The move onto the slab is interesting but it's over too quick and the grassy ledge section at the top out is not ideal.

Approach shoes with no pad. Great hands

Last time I didn't actually climb this, and dismissed it but it is really great. I might have just been eyeing up more to the right and missed the two great holds further left

Fun and flowy, fairly consistent and a great warm up for Innocence in a similar style

Took a little bit to figure out the mantle but its not too bad

Super stoked with how this route turned out! It's what gara has been missing: easy sport with good clip stances on great water worn rock, interesting features with a crux at the finish and with a clean top out and top rope access.

The sun was just hitting the wall and we weren't originally too inspired so just decided to try and speed run as much as we could swinging leads

Based on the dust and cobwebs this probably doesn't see much traffic but it's pretty neat. If we hadn't left some gear at the bottom we would have been done for the day but it was a really great little one to finish up with. Nice to have some jams for a change and switch up the muscle groups.

Super fun! I think this might be my fav route of the day, the second half of pockety goodness is bouldery and very happy to pick my way through the swiss cheese

I thought I was doing the Feeling of Presence but turns out to be a new problem, and yet another high quality problem on this ace little wall

More or less a nice extension

I thought this would be really spicy but the left side is too close. A wild hard sit start could be possible off a little crystal pocket

This cleaned up fairly nicely into a pure crack problem without the features to the left which we thought would be needed. Could be a couple variants. All over in 2-3 moves but still good fun. Still not sure I'd want to solo boulder it.

So glad this link up worked after we un-buried it from the flood debris

Didn't do the sit start, apparently I also went off route at the top (in a sea of jugs, jeez)

Still nursing a hand injury from the fall at the bungles so didn't intend to climb. Worth putting my shoes on

This is a great little find

Was showing this to Ben as a warmup. In hindsite I now remember that Underbelly starts on the lowest part of the rail and I had worked this line but not sure if I'd actually done it before. I flashed it (thinking it was the V2) and was repeating it, and I think my right crimp was too aggressive, or too early in the morning, or all of the above. A pretty loud crack ended my day before it really started. A2 pulley on right ring finger, probably a grade II / partial tear, so not good but not too bad in the grand scheme of things

Scouted and cleaned it from the top for the first time and it looked so hard and scary from the top looking down. But it's a pure gem and quite easy

Looks harder than it is, sharp but not actually that sharp either

Cruisy, a longer sequence than much of gara. Should be a few other problems just around the arete too

Thought it would be more on the arete and very sketchy fall, ended up quite sane straight forward
