Bushwhacking approach - but the climb is worth it. Wonderful slabby stuff for most of it with an interesting last pitch.

Nice variety of moves on both pitches. More sustained 5.8 on the first pitch; excellent pro to protect early crux on second pitch.

Excellent route with great exposure for the grade.

Inelegant chimney for most of the route, but the face moves at the top are great.

The two crux sections (stepping across the void after the first belay and then some thin face moves a little farther on) are well- protected, meaning that the climb is truly enjoyable.

Nice climb to the summit of Old People's Dome. Great view of the Conn Diagonal. Bring a set of nuts - bolts are far apart.

Nice one-move slab on the first pitch. Interesting second pitch - a few really fun moves, but lots of loose rock kind of detracts from the enjoyment of the climb....

Thoughtful movement for the grade, with less-than-obvious protection in the middle section.

Crux move is great - it's all about trusting your feet!

Crux pitch is great, as are the pitches directly before and after it. The first four pitches (two if you link them) are cruisers. Be careful of the loose rock on the last couple of pitches - more of an alpine feel to it. The summit is pretty cool and well worth it!

Straight-forward lead - can be done using either crack or face holds.

Found it hard to protect bottom section.

Great lead. My second pulled off a large chunk of rock, though, which nearly obliterated our rope! Crag doesn't see much traffic....

First move after belay station felt stiff for the grade - assuming the grade is 15....

Intriguing horizontal chimney - freaked me out, even as a second.

Had to climb twice to clean it...worth climbing twice, though!
