Free Solo. AKA no rope, no harness. A 'Headpoint'.. meaning I top roped it clean 120 times in 3 months before hand.

Packed me dacks, and bagged a flash. A great day out.

Road was closed for the Brisbane Gran Fondo Ride. Sent it in my Adidas Terrex Free Hiker Gore-Tex hiking shoes.

An easy balance problem with a fair bit of exposure.

Pumpy start. Great bolting. Mad fun. Suggest it's maybe an 18.

I'm about 90% sure this is the route we did. We started WAY TOO LATE.. like 2pm, and were VERY lucky to get down at dark. We followed the power lines down, and I'd recommend that route to get down. Did the first 3 pitches in approach shoes, but it was hella lot run out, and getting more and more damp towards the top, so i had to switch to climbing shoes.

Just got it. Maybe a little soft for grade. it's reachy, I got some reach. Make your own mind up. Great climb. A little loose. Placed draws no beta, never looked at it. Limestone pleasure.

Nice warmup route

Climbed through this onto Lord of the Underclings. Awesome route. Fair grade IMO.

Pumped to (just) get this as a genuine onsight. Without beta. Placing draws. And only a little chalk marking left behind from previous climbers. Many thanks to Charlie for today. An epic experience.

By far the gnarliest solo I've ever done. It's somewhat a deep water solo, somewhat a solo.. Would depend exactly how and where you fell. If you take holds to the right, it's a slightly easier but the exposure from risk of falling on ledges increases dramatically. Sea was absolutely raging at the time, lots of sea mist in the air.

I wished I stayed in Malta, for many reasons...The local MRCC club guys are way cool.... The shear number of relatively unclimbed, single pitch, limestone routes is amazing. Heaps of deep water solo, and sea level traverse options too.

Difficult to read. But a classic line. Stoked to onsight this (placing draws, never even looked at it). Probably Aus/Ewbank 20/21 .. it's got two crux moves, the rest of it is sustained at about Aus/Ewbank 19/20)

No stick clip, but I wander a bit left under the first bolt. Quite happy to finally send it.

In approach shoes

Did it twice with draws placed (pink points). Clean climbs both times. The 'flash' run I used a stick to clip the first, and sent it quick and easy. Second time I clipped the first draw whilst climbing, which I found to be quite a committed move. Maybe a little soft for the grade. Deserves the three stars.

A great climb. Mainly used larger nuts, a few hexes, a sling on the tree, and a small cam in the lower half. Upper half I used Cams, 0.5-3.0 Maybe 12 pieces in total

A genuine onsight. Had a rest on a ledge. Maybe a bit soft for the grade.

Another great little climb. Committed crux move is a test on your first time.

Actually a pretty good trad route , with ample solid passive placements available. Mid size gear at the bottom (BD #0. 5, O.75, 1,2... BD nuts 10-13) larger gear at the top ( BD #2,3,4, maybe large hex or two)

A bit grubby. Nice, sustained route. Not as run out as some of the others there.

The run out sections spooked me quite a lot. Was a bit of chalk to help me find the way.

My first real trad lead climbing effort.

I don't think I would do this without prior placement of the sling in the drill hole for protection near the ground.
