Sun 30th Dec 2007 - West Cape Howe
Old Man Area | ||||||
18 | ★★★ The Climb | 23m | ★★★ Mega Classic
My new favourite climb. Spectacular and exposed location. Protects well, varied and interesting climbing with the sweetest jams I have ever felt. Couldnt wipe the smile off my face. A proud lead for Scotty B.

The Raft Vulture Street Wall
17 | ★★★ Vulture Street | 50m, 1 | ★★★ Classic
First climb at WCH. Nice, secure climbing all the way. Good to do a long climb in a single pitch
|
||||||
20 | ★★ Vampire Street | 50m | ★★★ Classic
Would be a classic if you could protect it better. The crux was low and difficult to protect, but challenging and fun (good thing I was on top rope). The rest of the climb was relatively easy but still nice. Enjoyed that it was a nice and long pitch.

Wed 28th Nov 2007 - Mountain Quarry
Skywalker Wall | ||||||
22 | ★★★ Urban Ethics | 25m, 7
Inspired by Kelly's clean ascent, I had to give it a good shot. Climbed it in the fading light and pleasent temps with hardly a trouble. Despite vowing not to, I am now contemplating the lead.

Fri 19th Oct 2007 - Toodyay
Main Area | ||||||
22 | ★★ Plaque | 10m, 3 | ★★ Very Good
Three bolts at three difficult moves. Took me a while to sort out the sequence but once i worked it out, it was in the bag. Really happy because it is only my 2nd 22 (and everyone knows Rattler is soft for 22).

||||||
17 18 | ★ Pretty Vacant | 10m, 1
Easy but unprotected slab up to the one and only bolt of the climb. High enough to make you want to be pretty secure on the moves. At least the crux was protected, but I stood there for quite a while before I trusted my feet on the blank holdless section of wall.

Thu 27th Sep 2007 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
14 15 | ★ Pitang Pitang | 12m, 6
I found this really difficult after getting a flash pump on Old Salt. Nice climb nontheless

Fri 3rd Aug 2007 - Pinjarra
Boomer Hill Boomer Crag
18 | ★★ Boomer Crack | 18m | ★★★ Classic
Great holds all the way. Excelent climbing. Pumped out badly while placing gear. Nearly fell near the top but just managed to hold on for the tick.

Fri 3rd Aug 2007 - Pinjarra
Boomer Hill Spring Grove Farm Cutting
16 | ★ The Smell of Burning Cash | 10m, 3
A bolted 16, 20m from where we parked the cars. A perfect warm up before we headed up the hill to hit Boomer Crack.
|
||||||
Mon 4th Jun 2007 - Shark Rock
17 | ★★ The Fin | 10m, 4 | ||||
Technically tricky with the footwork (or more likely I have gone soft with lack of time on rock). Otherwise not too hard. Its a nice line up the arete.

||||||
Wed 11th Apr 2007 - Kura Tāwhiti / Castle Hill Basin
Quantum Field Quantum Map4 Area
V2 | Nipple Mantle | |||||
Not too hard once I got to the correct side of the boulder. Nothing special about it. Just a mantle.
|
||||||
V1 | ★★ Latte | |||||
Nice and easy. My first climb at Castle Hill.
|
||||||
Fri 30th Mar 2007 - Boya Quarry
East Bay Rightside | ||||||
17 | ★ Hell's Bells and Mademoiselles | 15m, 4 | Average
A couple of balancey moves requiring some commitment. Fuck the double carrot belays. The dirty scramble over the top is just dangerous.
|
||||||
Sun 25th Feb 2007 - Roleystone
15 | Trapeze Artist | 10m | ||||
Crux was near ground and before any useful pro can be placed. It was a cool move made easier if you can get the knee-bar no-hands-rest. Top out was fun too.

||||||
Sat 10th Feb 2007 - Wilyabrup
Main Crags Fat Chance Wall
8 | ★ Orryjohn | 15m | ||||
Was supposed to be an easy climb for MM to follow. HA! Had a few moves that I thought should definately not be on a grade 8.

||||||
Sat 27th Jan 2007 - The Stirling Ranges
Talyuberlup | ||||||
8 | Leviticus | 92m | ||||
My 100th climb logged into TheCrag.com . Michelle's first multipitch climb. Took us all day so glad it wasn't longer. The approach up the hill was a killer!
