Warmed up and it all felt pretty casual, got completely destroyed on the first lead shot and found some new beta that lead me to the send! Super psyched! Stayed on the RHS of the crack the whole way to the top which felt way easier so cant quite claim 27!

Tried both starts to this route. Both of which were too overgrown and dirty to have any fun climbing them, especially the steep crack start, a thick layer of lichen to work through to stand on or hold anything. Super disappointing because the line is so awesome! Ended up rapping into the valley a few times and bush bashed to find the walking track and trudged out with my head bowed in shame.

So so good. Climbed in 5 pitches that were all close to 50m, mostly in my TX4 approach shoes and no tape or gloves. Perfect jams, some intriguing slabs, burly off widths and strange chimneying... This route has it all!! Such a good adventure with minimal rattle (all the gear is excellent) and some very light rain that hung around all day that was much preferable to the full sun the route usually gets!

Did i get shut down on this or what?! Clearly overhanging wide cracks are not my style. Quite a battle to get to the top, with some fairly uninspiring rock quality but the line is just so amazing that you cant help but want to climb it!!

A very worthwile, back to springwood before 10:30am style, adventure. Pitch one is the money, amazing climbing! Pitch 2 is hilariously short and still worthwhile, hanging from one leg on a heel toe cam was my personal highlight. Good quality!
