End of day multipitch to exit the crag. We did a slight variation of this that you could call "Sweet Whympering Nightmare" perhaps... Pitch one of Whymper followed by pitches two and three of Sweet Dreams and then the final two pitches of Saccharine Nightmare. The original plan was to do Whymper, but with the onset of rain, high winds, and fading daylight, we opted for an easier exit after the first pitch. Ended up linking the last two pitches up in the dark. Not a bad impromptu exit, in the end

Exited the crag up this and it was a bloody great route - easily 3 stars, in my opinion! I led the odd pitches, Tom led the even ones. Stoked to get the crux pitch clean even as the sun hit the wall - really awesome moves all the way! Sustained, but reasonable for the grade. Second pitch was surprisingly pumpy with a little loose rock, but that just added to the adventure. The third was epic! Glorious jug hauling up a face that seemed outrageously steep for 17 such an awesome climb.

Excellent route! Made more exciting by a sleeping snake on the track to the base of the climb and the high winds that made the balancey cruxes a lot more interesting. Definitely think the last pitch (apparently 18?) was the hardest pitch. Was going to link it up with Dark Side, but by the time we topped out on this the wind was getting a bit ridiculous...

Awesome trad! I led P1 and P3, and Eamonn led P2. P1 went clean with a bit of grovelling to get up the V-corner chimney. Eamonn tore off one of his gear loops seconding the chimney so led the second pitch with his gear racked on one side - still managed to get it clean for the ice cream send! I came off P3 a few times before getting to the top - very sequence-y and powerful, and very fun to work out!
