25 year anniversary repeat. Like climbing a billiard table.

Good warmup. 1 is generous.

Good warmup and 2 cool moves. 1 is generous.
V2 V3 | ★ Project 2 Nowhere | 3m | ★ Good
Love this one. So many goes to re-figure out what to do. Undercling the pocket. Not that one, not that one either, and right foot up. Flapper. Not a warmup but easy in the end.
V2 V4 | ★★ Big Red One | 4m | ★★ Very Good
Fat, 50 and unfit in February. 2 at most. Direct lap for giggles.
V2 V4 | ★★ Burnt | 4m | ★★ Very Good
Fun. Straight forward pulling this time once brushed. Easier than I remembered.
Sat 13th Nov 2021 - Nowra
Bomaderry Creek Lot 33 Bouldering
V2 V4 | ★ Juice | 4m | ★ Good | |||
Skip the $hit. Fun but soggy.
Graffiti Juice: start at Juice, undercling up to the crimp of Graffiti, last Juice hole and normal finish for a 2. |
V2 V4 | ★★ Big Red One | 4m | ★★ Very Good
End of day. Decent conditions (in November!) makes this cruisy.
Wed 10th Nov 2021 - Nowra
Bomaderry Creek Lot 33 Bouldering

Everyone loves a highstep to cross-through backstep.

Sun 31st Oct 2021 - Rat's Crag
Rat's Boulders | ||||||
V0 V3 | ★★ Dreamers | 5m | ★★★ Classic
Stunning line and super classy and committing climbing. Nowhere near a 3 though.
V4 | ★★ Veins of Gold | 6m | ★★★ Classic
Very nice crack (V1/2) to death mantle.
V4 | ★★★ The Great Wall | 6m | ★★★ Classic
Terrifying last move to nightmare mantle. Bring big pads and spotters, or a rope. Much harder than it looks (V2/3 and then the mantle). Everything on this wall needs pre-send brushing anyway.
Thu 2nd Sep 2021 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount York Mt York Bouldering Chili Boulder
V2 | ★ Chop Suey | 5m | ★ Good | |||
For the pumpers it's a big move to slopey pocket then moderate move to slopey lip. Pulled most of the slopey lip off which was disconcerting.
V0 | Unnamed Route 1 | 3m | Average
And variants.
Thu 12th Aug 2021 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area XXXX
V1 V3 | ★★ Albino Redback | 4m | ★ Good
Direct bottom (crimps to throw), top (crimps) and bazillion variants (diagonal rail, obvious face crimp, etc) to the right is the pick at about 2/3.
V2 V3 | ★ V3 traverse | 8m | Average
Low traverse is the money. How many holds above the break can you skip? ... And obviously also in reverse.
V2 | ★ Albino Redback Attack | 4m | ★ Good
Out to the glued ear for 3.
Fri 23rd Apr 2021 - Nowra
Bomaderry Creek Lot 33 Bouldering
V0- V0+ | ★ Familiar | 3m | Average
In flip flops. Seems overgraded.
V3 V4 | ★★ Big Red One | 4m | ||||
Pumper. Straight up variant is good too and easier. Hitting the good part of the 2nd last hold is key.
V1 V2 | ★★ Two Big Moves | 4m | ★★ Very Good
Not as big as you think and better holds too.
V3 V4 | ★★ Burnt | 4m | ||||
Another undercling pocket crux. Not that hard if you skip the shit holds.
V2 V3 | ★ Project 2 Nowhere | 3m | ★ Good
Undercling pocket crux. Easy once warmed up.
V0 V2 | ★ Jugs 2 Ring | 3m | ★ Good
Maybe a 1.
V0- V2 | ★ I'm Old Gregg | 3m | ★ Good
Warmup in sandshoes. v2 on the moon perhaps.

Lower Blue Mountains Zed Dimension Sculpture Garden Ride the Rail Boulder
V0 V0- | Sensible Pain | 3m | Average

Committing. Scary 3 if you top out direct.
V2 V3 | ★★ A Wash With Blood | 3m | ★★ Very Good
2/3 Cool footwork to high left foot, straight up to sidepull, pocket, slap and jugs. This and brainwave make it worthwhile.
Tue 9th Mar 2021 - Bruny Island
Mars Arch | ||||||
V3 | ★★ Matt Damon! | 6m | ★ Good
Devious cross-through undercling crux. I liked R->L slightly more.
V3 | ★★ Seaward Side | 5m | ★★★ Classic
The weak and timid person's Es Pontas. Surprising solid holds. Exciting top-out. A spotter would help the nerves, but the sand is soft and deep. I'm no J-Tree bouldering hardman.

Finger Wharf | ||||||
V6 V8 | ★★ Finger Wharf Traverse | 30m | ★★★ Mega Classic
27/28 before the mid-crux 'improvement' sometime post-2011. One of the best manufactured problems anywhere, with beautiful sequences, devious cruxes, tenuous smears, hidden holds (without a tick mark to be seen) and absolutely long and sustained. All in the perfect locale. A decade of infrequent visits and repeats, never bored. And it climbs both ways for double the value.
V6 | Line of Least Resistance (line of least resistsance) | 30m | Crap
Always sandy, mind numbing traverse. Not even as a warm-up. Only to damage the heritage classic below it.
Mon 25th Feb 2019 - Earlwood
V3 | ★★ Bardwell Traverse | 10m | ★★ Very Good
Historically I believe this problem was right to left (repeated this way) and around the crux arete for proper pumpy 4. Solid rock (barring sandy feet), cool pockets, good friction (tad sharp).
Wed 21st Dec 2016 - Mount Keira
Lower Boulders | ||||||
V6 | ★★★ Jungle Cat | 4m | ★★★ Classic
20th anniversary repeat. Hooray for fairy brushers. So many great problems from bumbly to bumpy under the moss.
V2 V3 | ★ 1 | 3m | ★★ Very Good | |||
20th anniversary repeat. Right hand pocket sidepull v2. Left hand pocket gaston v1. All in the feet.

4 with a modicum of technique.
V4 | ★★ I'd Rather Be Fishing | 3m | ★ Good
No piking left. Less worrisome with a spot.

2006 - The Balkans | ||||||
The Frontline Front and Centre
V6 V5 | ★ Akhtar | 3m | ★★ Very Good
Very soft for six. Left sidepull instead of the undercling makes it very elegant. Easier if your under 6'
