Fri 15th Sep 2017 - Red Rock
First Creek Canyon First Creek Slabs
5.7 Lady Luck Trad 300m Classic
A thoroughly enjoyable climb.

Thu 14th Sep 2017 - Red Rock
First Creek Canyon Lotta Balls Wall
5.8 5.8 II PG Lotta Balls Mixed trad 150m, 2 Mega Classic
Tremendous, a unique and freaky climb on a lot of bizarre rock balls. I lead the crux 2nd pitch, the balls get progressively smaller and I was pretty nervous above the 2nd bolt until I reached the large crack. Great experience.

Sun 27th Aug 2017 - Red Rock
First Creek Canyon Lotta Balls Wall
5.8 5.8 PG Black Magic Mixed trad 150m, 3 Very Good
Climbed in the mid-to-late afternoon shade, 104F day so still hot. The crux 3rd pitch looks really intimidating, but when you get to the crux you realise it isn't actually overhanging.

Sat 26th Aug 2017 - Red Rock
Calico Basin Red Spring Area Riding Hood Wall
5.6 Physical Graffiti Trad 94m Good
1st day in Vegas after flying-in from Australia. So excited to be climbing at Red Rocks, we climbed beyond sunset and abseiled down in the dark, hmm, that easy abseil gully isn't so easy in the dark ;o)

5.9 Big Bad Wolf Sport 67m, 26 Mega Classic
Flew-in from Australia at 1pm, on the rock by 4pm - perfect remedy for jetlag! Great climb with 3 pitches of different character.

Fri 25th Sep 2015 - Red Rock
Black Velvet Canyon Whisky Peak
5.8 Frogland Trad 290m Very Good
Climbed P1 to find a pair sitting at the anchor waiting for the group above to move, who were waiting for the group above to move, oh? They were all so silent!

Flying back to Sydney the next day, too much to do, didn't have time to wait ~30 mins at each belay, abseiled off for some single pitches nearby instead.

Mon 31st Aug 2015 - Red Rock
Juniper Canyon Wall of Cracks
5.8 5.8 IV Crimson Chrysalis Trad 250m Classic
Pre-dawn start to beat the crowds, but bizarrely no other parties that day!

All hanging belays, I lost 2 toe nails for this climb ;o) Can only imagine how chaotic it would be abseiling the route with 4 climbers and 4 ropes at each belay!

Sun 30th Aug 2015 - Red Rock
Pine Creek Canyon Mescalito Dark Shadows Wall
5.8 5.8 II Dark Shadows Trad 100m Classic
Shadows needed for ~100F day!

Just climbed the first 4 pitches and rapped the route. Plenty of fixed/lost gear on P2 & 3 which comes in handy ;o)

Mon 13th Oct 2014 - Red Rock
Juniper Canyon Ginger Buttress
5.9 Ginger Cracks Trad 280m Very Good
Great climb. Just think of P6 as "moving the belay" rather than its own pitch.

For P7 we climbed the bolted face rather than the original corner.

Sun 12th Oct 2014 - Red Rock
Juniper Canyon Rose Tower
5.7 5.7 PG Olive Oil Trad 300m Good
Good intro to Red Rocks.

We were passed by a solo climber high on the route, quite unnerving watching someone climb without a rope, especially when under the fall-line!
