Ascents by Tobias Auth having Boulder CPR

Quite easy when you know the right way. Lovely crimps.

Nice and crimpy.

Looking at the topo some days after I'm not so sure if the version Ivan showed me used the correct starting holds. Crux of what we did was to hold the mono as an intermediate.

A majestic highball with nice holds and moves! 2nd go after testing the pads from half height. Glad I looked at the topout first!! (used the pocket on top of the boulder that I knew was there.)

3rd go today. Awesome single move!

Fun stuff! Holding the sloper with both hands as a start probably was the crux (or to make a move off it).

Cool problem on the right side of an arête. Feels impossible at first. Granite smearing, balance and slopers.

Warm-up. More exciting than last time because it already got dark.

Great variety of moves. Sloper, edges, pinch, kneebar, mantle. Awesome. 2nd go.

Tried to do the first move with Micha's beta but couldn't generate enough pull with the toe hook. Seemed crazy hard!

The first few holds wouldn't be as glassy if it wasn't so sandbagged maybe. Cool boulder with a #morpho last move. A lot of rather strong people didn't send this so the given grade seemed really low.

Quite good if you avoid the sandy, brighter footholds.

Found a morpho soulution for the topout.

Awesome long roof with a dyno exit on big holds.

Very short but two nice moves on cool holds. Felt more like 5B/C to me.

Pulled hamstring on my first go of the day. Should've sent yesterday.

Unexpected progress during 2 hour sundown session. Got all moves to the top hold and fell with the right hand on the top of the block because of the blind top out/ couldn't see foothold. Beta was locking both arms completely on the first move and reaching the crimp statically with a heel hook. Sharp crystal for the middle finger more or less. Matching the crimp, flag left leg with pressure on the tip. Controlled dynamic move to the sloper rail.

Could imagine doing this as my first Boulder of the grade. Starting from the crimp, I almost got it. Maybe one inch short on the first move.

Sit start, approach traverse, dyno to jug, mantle. Really good!

Felt really close. Daniel gave us beta and climed it barefoot.

Real progress. Linked all moves from the start to the last bad hold. More lock off power needed to turn and "lever" up to get into the final heel hook. First half felt easy now. Crimps are not too bad. Right foot toe jam is essential.

Hard! Juggy on sharp slots and a very specific "smear, stand up and reach" problem at the very top. I saw 7a/b boulderers not sending.

Great fun to link some moves on this one. Start to left sloper done. Left sloper and right undercling to jug almost done (hard while facing the sun), topout done.

Seemed doable except the first move. 3 big pads useful for the uneven ground.

Very short and juggy but an interesting mantle.

Standing start. The blind topout was rather hard the way I did it.

Crowded spot today with 20+ people in front of the bloc. Anti-style boulder! Jug to top done, everything else hard!

Short but with an interesting top-out. Also nice to pull on a mono once in a while.

Crimp crux with a dyno to a jug. Went all the way up and traversed into the corner to downclimb. So awesome to send this one! My first hard highball.

Weird that it starts on the block.

Great fun to project this with Andreas. Delighted that I could do moves! Feels doable.

#barefoot while others were projecting "Bahnverbindung".

Nice line! Traverse finish and not all the way up.

Tough problem with a undercut/sidepull disk.

A trip highlight! We joined a group of guys projecting this. Impressive and exciting to watch two of them do it. I found a good solution for the start and got to the arête almost every time. Hard to reach the hold on top of the arête in full stretch. Some falls trying to catch the swing. Big pads and 2 or 3 spotters are nice to have! I'll come back! (It turned out that I might pulled a core muscle on my right side which took some weeks to fully recover.)

nope. (Trying the left twisted heel hook several times wasn't as great for my knee. 1-2 weeks until fully pain free. Leg warm-up next time?!)

Great project for next time. Crimpy body tension start to two slopy holds. Did all moves from intermediate sidepull (+sloper for right) onwards.

Wall/ arête next to the path to Lapin.

Straight forward problem. 3rd go.

10th go or so. Took all my skin.

My first boulder in Fontainebleau! And a really nice one. Glad I had hook beta for the roof.

Last problem of the trip.

Proud to onsight this as a semi-warm-up. Didn't feel as easy as the grade suggests.

Getting into that sidepull seemed impossible. Different beta?!

5th go or so. Vertical with tiny footholds.

Rain, no skin but most of all too weak. The crimp around the edge of the roof shut me down. A boulder to come back to!

almost retro flash. Then no more friction.

I thought this had to be my style as it's slightly overhanging and has long moves but crux move felt far away. Photogenic boulder though! Numerous attempts with Micha and Gerrit.

Started in the overhang but with feet on another small block. Fun!
