Ascents of Warm It Up direct finish

Figured out gear placement on Top rope. Top would need scrubbing to create friction for the topout

Over strange overhung lip to single carrot bolt - nervous finish…

Send this first go. Topped out to count anchor and I didn’t use the ledge. Not sure it I was supposed to go to meat puppets anchor. Will try both next time I lead climb secure the redpoints

Went up to look at this, think I did a slightly left version of the pikers and then found where this goes while lowering. The gear is pretty uninspiring for some tricky sloper moves

I reckon first time i've got the full tick on the direct finish. Before freaking out and grabbing the clip of course

Got confused and originally thought this was mystery slabs... Climbed up the crack and used the bolts in the middle (for 'Meat Puppets' I think) as protection. Got halfway up to the double bolts and couldn't get up over the lip to the next clip, not really sure where to go or what the sequence is so lowered from the double bolts. Climbing the crack was fun though!

Bellowed like a bull-walrus, but just managed the final haul-out on the slopey sidepull to avoid the public ignominity of beaching like one.

Second time for good measure

Completely failed to work outthe direct finish, fell a few times then bailed out on the Pikers Variant.
