Cleaning the draws after John's crow bar session on Critters Corner. The jug out left of 5th is flexing a lot now, so will break off at some point.

Warmup? Across to the Critters anchor for a 1.5 hour effort getting the big midway flake off that and raining big chunks down. Aidan got the draws off just before rain arrived.

Quite hard to read crux. I think I did it the 21 way Pretty cool route but I am a sucker for this style.

Warm up

Yes it was toprope, but man I was stoked to get this with one fall while reworking the crux while returning from injury. Not a bad innings

Side pull flake still present.

Saw a train of people falling at the multiple cruxs over the whole weekend. Wasn't as bad as they made it look, just a fun slab that rewards feet first climbing.

Finally knocked the bastard off! After many attempts over a few years, with variously drastic levels of failure, finally sent it.

Jumped on with no expectation of getting it, made it through the first crux without too much whimpering, then expected to cock up at the second crux, and somehow forgot to. A good day on the rock

Perfect conditions for it.

Nice follow up to finish the day, impressed with Eric's lead. Some interesting bits that would be nicer when dry

Would have got it clean but took a couple of goes to get the crux right.

Reworked crux 1, many falls, sailed through second crux. Just need to really go for it at the first, get it together and send the damn thing someday

Repeat. Some lovely moves, my favourite mantle to pull. Pleased to find it easier than last time, 2 years ago.

1 take. Flubbed the easier second crux. Must trust the high foot rockover. Someday I'll get this thing clean.

Rock getting a bit warm, but probably the smoothest I've ever managed. The small crux sidepull flake is flexing, somebody will get a surprise soon.

Some good moves

Thought I had a shot at it clean, Flubbed the crux. Note to self: Ignore the crystal people rave about, theres a better high hold on the arete, that just works, with a weird left foot. Work along rail, pray sufficiently hard, and it should come together.

Benchmark 20, if it's harder than this it's 21...
