Ascents of Slash

Inside the crack was a bit wet, but nice route

Nice rock, nice gear but a bit short compared to other routes at the point.

Got pretty scared leading this one. Lots of excellent rests on the climb if you jam a limb into the crack, but extracting yourself from the rest and getting yourself moving again was the heady part. Found some slimy rock where I was hoping to find jugs. Probably should've placed more gear - placed 4 cams and hustled to the top. Bring big off-width cam sizes for Slash and its neighboring routes to stitch up the sizable cracks.

Now sports a fixed piece or booty as Chris forgot his nut key and was seemingly 'too hot and sweaty' to hang around to retrieve. Left insitu as it is probably similar vintage to the rocks surrounding it. But one tap with a nut key and its yours

Quite easy for grade. Well protected

Really pleasant for a shorty, some fiddling for a good top belay

Nice climbing on great rock for the point.

Good climb with good pro on good rock. One nice move, the rest straight forward.

Quick escape as the rain blew in. Easy scramble up except for one move near the top

Short but sweet. Nice climbs for beginners in a beautiful yet non threatening surrounding.
