3rd or 4th session over a few years so nice to finish it off after getting close in April. First go after putting the draws in and went quite comfortably. Key was a foot jam in the crack to get the left pocket, then using the left undercling and good foot placement above. Supercool route.

Got this on the second attempt for the day. Had the beta exactly right for the feet and worked perfectly with the double gaston move through the crux, then a bit of a throw up to the jug at the end of the sequence. Feet very nearly came off in the middle of the crux but managed to desperately stay on the route! Very happy not to have to come back for another attempt for a while!

Busy day at Kizashi, was one of 6 parties attempting the route. Thought I had the beta dialed in but made a few mistakes getting into the crux sequence and got flustered, then had a sit to figure out the beta. Very sequencey and very critical to have the beta dialed for the attempt.

Took a long go on lead to figure out the beta then string it together on second. Will need to improve my endurance to get the tick but beta feels dialed. Trusting your feet is key

Quite the foot dance around the crux, but at least now I have video to refer to. Working beta through the chicken wings seems to be RH crimp + LH crack sidepull to move RF into crack, bump LF up to the highest of the 3 footholds, RH to crack layback, bump RF up, swing inline with crack to switch LH to gaston, bump RF up again, then RH to left side of crack, then high LH is reachable. Also have to remember the RH crimp for the anchors is much better than the LH thing.

Great climb, one frustrating foot slip and a mis read on the last move other wise went well, hopefully next time. I think i left my shoes at the base in a hasty pack up, if anyone see them it would be most appreciated if i could get them back! (Solutions due for a resole on the toes)

Got the beta refined with the help from Nik and Jacques and it went. On the red point attempt decided to switch the beta for a hand jam at the top crux for the first time and it felt like a lottery! Some internal screams that I was not dropping it at the anchors haha!

Really stoked on this, I forgot how fun this climb is! Always nice coming back to a climb after a while and seeing how much better it feels. This climb just seemed impossible for me when I first tried it, I pumped out so quickly and couldn't get the moves at the top of the elevator doors. This time the moves all went when I warmed up on it, and it all held together for the send go.

Second session on this beast. 1st attempt could not pass the first crux… again 2nd attempt figured out the beta for the first crux and the top crux felt ok once you know what to do 3rd attempt trying to link but fell on both cruxes. Awesome challenge!

More working. At the start of the "hands" crack / crux, high L foot + R foot ironstone triangle + R crimp + right layback to lever up. Then R foot to shallow dish smear to transition to chicken wings and left layback, then some tenuous foot rearrangement for upward progress. I didn't use the big pocket to the L of the crack this time - somehow went straight to the jug at the top-right of the crack after getting a foot jam. Underclings in breaks as per previous beta. Got to the first crux and had to have a rest due to the freezing fingers. Workout out some reasonable beta for the first crux, hopefully will go without too much work. Fantastic climb on delicate and thought provoking moves

All the moves - steep start up the jugs, kneebar, hand jam, stems, laybacks, drop knees, underclings, double gastons, wide pinch. Spent a lot of time trying different beta and forgot most of the working sequences before I touched back down on the deck. Can vaguely recall going right of the crack at the last break before the anchors and using the left of the two large breaks as an undercling to throw for the good RH - the sharp undercling and thin RH crimp to the left of the bolts is a dead end. Next break down sequence went RH to side pull in crack, LH undercling, good RF in crack, then LH to jug. Next time should continue projecting on TR to dial the beta in since it's too sustained to think.
