Ascents in Col's Crag

Mainly bolt to bolt. Most sustained route at the crag, tricky. Amazing limestone like rock at the bottom.

TOok a little bit to remember the crux beta with no chalk. Pumped off the top on the 2nd shot. Unreal.

Awesome to be back here. As good as I remember, other than the bolts I put out right to far.

Great to repeat 8yrs after I did the FA. I was pumped, great sustained route.

Awesome climb

Love this climb. Practised some solo climbing head space training by skipping bolts to increase the run out. Skipped the first bolt, clipped the 2nd and 3rd, then ran out the next 4 bolts. Huge run out but I felt supper solid.

I love the small crimps and technical footwork required to send this route in style.

This is another great route. It is a solid 20 and heaps of fun from the first to the last move. A must climb for the grade.

FFA. Really happy to have a grade 20 at this cliff. Interesting rock and nice and long. Great route for up and coming climbers to practise improve their footwork.

Rested on the second bolt so I could cut down the banyan tree, this didnt make it any easier though. Still a great climb and unsure if this is 23 or 24.

End of day after finishing bolting. Had to fight to tick this one again. Great route.

This sort of climb seems to suit my style of climbing. Technical little feet and thin crimps and pinches. Loved every move, all the way to the anchor.

Classic climb. 1 attempt back in 2013. Then final another chance to come back. Sent this route on the second attempt. Loved every move.

FFA. Finally put some effort into this route and put it to rest. Another awesome line at this crag.

Early 2014. Thin and sharp crux section. NIce and cool aircon from the chasm.

Two falls, one due to a broken foot hold. This will be a classic once it has seen the FFA.

Foot hold broke and missed on-sight. Got the ascent with two falls. Classic route. and a real test piece for the grade.

The route is still new and as such still have a few loose and fragile rock. There was a very large block which just under the overhang at the end of the crack system at half height. The block was posing a real risk of falling so I climbed without touching the block which made the climb a little harder. I cleaned the block on the decent.

This is a classic climb, great combination of power and technique. This is classic Test piece for the grade. Jason, you are becoming a legend route setter, this is another classic line.

Missed the on-sight by 1 move. Rested for 20min then attempted again and got the send on the second attempt. This is a great line but probably not a 24. I would reckon it is 23.

Sometime in June 2013. Amazing route with awesome exposure for a single pitch. Get on this!!

Awesome route. Sent this on what I think was my 4th shot. Did it again at end of the day after jenna had a play.

Really fun, powerful laybacking, hard for 22.

Tried for the red point, pumped out.

Awesome, ticked it and ran it out, past the last bolt, to the anchor. Yew!

Cool crux and finishing moves

Thought this would go but I was spanked! Wish I had another day at this crag. Great route!

Hard crux

Struggled in the hot and humid conditions that were sapping my energy. Great route, but a bit too closely bolted.
