A great way to spend my last few hours in the Arapiles.
Woah. Definitely wasn't expecting to get the send on this one! A friend recommended the route, so I decided to give it a try on my last day in Arapiles. Very glad I did. Fantastic climbing in a fantastic place!
Absolutely loved this. Interesting climbing, with great views, and best of all - shade! Did it in two pitches
Nice lead by Dominick! Some interesting climbing!
Reminiscent of Flying Buttress Direct, but with much more positive holds. Fantastic climbing, and pleasantly soft for the grade. Cheers!
Well... Dominick and I managed to do a squeeze bypass - that is, we started on either side and passed each other in the middle. Have we passed yet?!
We may have done a variant on the variant, but it was still very enjoyable!
Well... it was nearly the full moon so we decided some night climbing was in order. Very good fun! Linked it into four pitches.
A nice morning venture. Instead of crawling through the hole and doing the chimney on the third pitch, Dom decided to climb up the overhanging face on the boulder. Nice variation!
A nice night lead by Dominick!
Took me a couple tries to figure out the bottom section, but once I had it I started again and really enjoyed the rest of the route!
Very nice afternoon venture!
Very nice morning venture!!
Fantastic!! Got mega pumped during the bouldering start, but loved everything after it.
Dom accidentally ran this onto one pitch. Hard for the grade I thought, but very enjoyable!
Yeesh! They weren't joking when they said it had a hard crux down low. Haven't been this pumped in a very long time... Enjoyed the top quite a bit though.
