Description

The province of Mendoza, in Argentina, is a popular destination for outdoor lovers. For rock climbers, it offers the beautiful Valle Grande area, surrounded by the Atuel Canyon and River. The type of Rock is #Volcanic and the routes have a height ranging from 9 meters to 30 meters is a place that has about 118 routes to climb with all levels of difficulty, from very easy, intermediate and difficult grades.

Remember! Do not bother other climbers shouting or putting loud music. If you do not take a route, remove your equipment. The knowledge of the assurance techniques, the use of equipment and safe practices are essential to practice this sport with the least possible risk. Use the trails already marked. Take a bag to pick up and take back all the garbage. Take or bury your poop, away from walls, bulder, trails and water sources.

Approach

From San Rafael, take Ballofet Ave and head towards the Valle Grande on Cubillos street (RP173) until the roundabout, continue towards the Valle Grande through the area of badenes and turn right onto the dirt road that has a sign that says Parapentes (Paragliders). Follow the park ranger (Guardaparque) signs. Distances: From San Rafael and up to the dirt road through RP173 are 22km and through Rama Caida street is 25km. From the dirt road and to the parking / gate 4km.
