Ascents in Denim Wall

Pleased to do this on replaced gear without any fuss. Did a lap practicing the placements too, it won’t feel done until I redpoint

Onsight attempt included a fair bit of aiding, had another run on top rope and worked out the moves. Hard, but possibly doable if willing to put time and skin into it.

SOOOO CLOSE! Clipped the bolt, got the pocket, then fell going for the last finger lock!

Ah well, something for next time. Still stoked, really surprised myself with how well I did

Got to the anchors placing gear, only needing to aid the crux.

Made it clean to the crux on a toprope burn, and figured out the moves to the bolt. It goes! Bring an aid pad and pinky tape

Aided through the crux, then didn't have another play

Beautiful route but over 50ish 26 I already send this one I reckon it s harder. I used a black diamond offset.4/.5 instead using the bolt.

TR'd it with a fall then led it placing the gear on another day. Hadn't really looked at the gear so it felt like a proper 'placing the gear' tick. While it has good history and a good line the climbing's not that much fun, worth one star but not two.

I led the second pitch about 2005 and thought it was well protected.. went back 2015 and jumped off a few times as there was a runout traverse and a mantle before gear. Backed off as if you fell off the mantle you'd hit your belayer/the ledge.???

Start is quite scary. Finish is quite hard! Wasn't inspired enough to go back.

I really liked this -- big holds, varied, accessible grade. Good warmup for the others

Pre-Placed gear. Steep finger locks not my style. Worked really hard to get it and stuffed two fingers. Was it worth it? hmm 3 months of taped fingers not sure.

3 shots, 2 with one fall. Last day of my trip Doh! next time...One of the best 26's I've been on.
