Felt good on it this time around. Super chuffed to have sent it. Still pumpy though.

Another beautiful crack despite the thrutchy start leaving me exhausted. Tricky getting the right jam sequence!

What a fight.

A real slog, some desperate moves getting through the pumpy jams but really good crack climbing

Didn't have a big 5 cam so clipped to the bolt in the left side. Pumped myself out for the first crux. The hand jams are solid but demanding. I have never had arms soo pumped that blood flow was very restricted so even the last jugs on the route felt so hard to grip on to. Never felt so insecure on a jug before. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Definitely worthy of being my first Trad project.

The start still felt a bit tough but been accustomed to the middle crux. Great climb. Take care of the loose rock ~2m below the top, its been marked with an X.

Still just as thrilling on second. Tried it facing right this time, harder or am I fatter?

Slipped at the crux, my hand jam was perfect but hurt like hell, had to take one sit.

I need to stop trying the hardest climbs in the dark! Note to self for future - flashing on second (even having to stop to remove gear!) is not the same as leading. Took too long in the offwidth and built up a layer of sweat until I slipped out completely and took a big inverted fall - spooked me pretty bad but still got to the top to retrieve Sarah's anchor from Agent Orange. Re-match next trip, in the daylight.

Could thrurch the bottom section, could jam the middle but could not find the feet.

was keen to give this a go on lead, but fell a couple times trying to work out the thrutchy start (onto a #5!). Decided it was wiser to not risk a ground fall committing to the moves. will come back to conquer

I officially feel like I can crack climb, so happy to have this one under my belt especially before tassie. This is one of the climbs whete I can see and feel progress and is a mile stone for jamming for me.

apologies to anyone asleep within 10km this morning as my grunts and swearing through the crux probably woke you up.

Actually did all the moves! Also took my first ever whip on trad which was sick. Figured the sequence now just gotta get back and send

T spent like 45 mins putting up with me falling off this. i love her so much. i also love my 5. dont love sliding out of the start in slow motion as much tho

This is mega hard, will add to tick list and project

I can't wait to lead this one i'm sure i will cry but it was a hoot on toprope!

glorious jamming up a beautiful line with a fun chimney at the start! found it difficult to work out the feet and to string together the moves, but stoked to eventually make it up after a long struggle

let's get that undeservedly high AI grade down. was too scared for this last time, crushed it this time around (and by crushed i mean my finger which bled profusely all over the climb)

Got the thrutchy start but Pulled on gear through most of the jamming moves. More practice required. Tye reckons it's the hardest 18 at Araps 🙊

Got really cocky after cruising the start and then climbed into the crux completely unprepared, took a couple goes to stick it.

Surprised myself with this! Very fun thrutchy first half to steep jamming. Toprope from the ground, lead climbing from the toprope anchor we set at the top of the crack up to the bolts in order to clean.

was told by 3 guys the day before trying, this climb had made them cry. I thought it was superb! A bit of everything

Great Araps sandbag. Offwidth is easy comparing to what comes next although I need to admit I made it infinitely harder for me by placing a cam into the key handjam spot.

Top roped this awhile back, the chimney start is weird then its jugs to the top

Excellent! Easy if you can jam. Powerful bomber jams, they don't get any better.

Seemed staright forward from the ground. Different story once jammed in the crack. Really enjoyable but made me work for it.
