Ascents in New Image Wall

Great fun!

Amazing moves and class rock, but I can’t give three stars due to terrible bolt placement

So incredibly close to the send

Will get tomorrow morning

Got the bouldery start after a couple of attempts then in started pouring and needed to jug up to retrieve gear. Took me a few minutes and a few desperate lunges off slick rock to realise the send was in fact, not on.

Happy to get the clean send on the 2nd go. Fluffed the beta midway where I fell previously but retreated to a rest with more info and committed to the moves from there.

Burnt a few attempts on bogus toe-hook beta before Ollie pointed out a high foot I hadn’t considered, then took a fall midway pumped out messing a foot swap I didn’t fully commit to while fresher.

Lovely climbing that reminded me a lot of Slider wall back in Brissy. Didn’t climb with great rhythm and was super pumped at the top, but got it clean after seeing Ollie & Ang send before me.

Seconded Ollie. Was cruisy until I spent approx 5-10 mins trying to remove a small cam and then eventually pumped out and needed to weight the rope to use both hands. Need to practice cam removal!

Little after dark climb with the head torch. Felt superb, it's a little intricate after the cave.

One of the best 18s here, direct start was the go

Spat off the start again. So hard to commit. This time gave up and went to the pub

Convinced to go up by Alex Holroyd and had a great time

Fell off the start again on TR, then sent clean

Slid off the start and then had a couple of sits to place gear and gather courage. There was plenty of gear but most of it was average and a bit of a run-out down low. The climbing however was stellar

Too cooked after Tarantula. Pumped out and let go of the wet crimps at the top. Nice clean fall. Smoothly 2nd try. Need to work on rock-overs.

Not enough gumption.

Looks like there is shit gear however, there is a plethora. great climbing.
