Ascents in East (Right) Side

Felt pretty tough at the end of the day. Got all the moves in the end.

Clean and easy afternoon jaunt.

I interacted with 3 dogs today: a foxy, a black lab cross, and this. As a climb, really quite crap.

Short tricky layback with little time to get the gear in.

Wouldn't be keen to lead this.

Thin hands when possible

So named because of the Grey Thrush nest seen at the ledge during summer inspection, the considerable quantities of adrenalin dumped into my system during the lead, and the singular speed of Nathan's second, which I might have emulated had I not been placing gear to save my eggs in the manner of an incubating thrush.

As far as ticks go I did not dog or haul on gear but I did climb up and down the lower crux 3 times to place gear, sagged once and fell once - an honest trad lead with a fall and a rest.

Seems to be getting quieter and easier.

Second attempt. Really fun bouldery moves after the slab, then into nice big flakey jugs and crimps to finish

Went to check out the moved and found a horrendously sandy ledge past the second bolt. The climbing either side is pretty good.

Great delicate climbing. Deserves more stars

Familiar ground

Lovely and sustained. Hard at the grade, with doing!

Thin hard impossible in the sun

Some loose rock, but some lovely moves in a glorious chimney

Just ran a lap because the rope was already on it, pretty chill at the grade and not as good as the surrounding routes, but still worthwhile

Clearly my fitness is still in the dog house and needs work: failed clipping the anchor.
