A lovely area of little crags also the Sawtell Coast. Areas include Boambee Headland, Mals Rock and Murry's Crag. The rock is rather brittle in this area and caution is advised. But the little crags have plenty of potential for Bouldering FA's and also provide a loverly coastal setting with cool sea breezes to have a climb.

Sawtell is a small costal village 5 minutes south of Coffs Harbour.

Ethic inherited from Coffs Harbour

Climbing ethics in the Coffs Harbour area generally follow those of the rest of Australia. The sandstone often offers solid, natural protection which should be used instead of fixed protection where possible. Tape, ribbon, or something similar tied around a bolt or inserted in the route will indicate an incomplete route. Please respect these routes as projects until the marker is removed.
