Description

A nice overhang with a couple of great routes and a couple of projects. Scope for more if anyone is keen.

Access issues inherited from New South Wales and ACT

If you have benefited from climbing infrastructure in NSW, please consider making a donation towards maintenance costs. The Sydney Rockclimbing Club Rebolting Fund finances the replacement of old bolts on existing climbs and the maintenance of other hardware such as fixed ropes and anchors. The SRC purchases hardware, such as bolts and glue, and distributes them to volunteer rebolters across the state of New South Wales. For more information, including donation details, visit https://sydneyrockies.org.au/rebolting/

Approach

Take the vague trail directly below the Pretender at Hero Wall. It heads diagonally down hill to a thin ledge above a 10m drop. Navigate this and you will arrive at the Sound Garden Cave

Ethic inherited from Waihoo

A mixed of sport and trad routes but all the routes are well equiped with lower offs and solid bolts

History

History timeline chart

Only a few routes so far. Down On The Upside was the first route to go up in 2011, then Talking Marmots and Arboretum in 2012. Still quite a lot of potential.
