Description

Emerald Creek is a creek located in the Lamb Range in Dinden West Forest Reserve in Far North Queensland. It's source lies in a rainforest, the creek eventually ends in a eucalypt woodland.

Access issues

Located in Dinden West Forest Reserve.

Approach

Walk along track until sharp right turn where stone stairs are, follow off track along scrub until the boulder with the orange arrow (cool V1). Follow arrow over tree trunks and across river flow to water fall. Obvious big boulders across the stone falls are the main pieces. BE CARFEUL WHEN WET, VERY SLIPPERY

Where to stay

Camping is not permitted within Dinden West Forest Reserve. Camping sites can be found at nearby Dinden and Davies Creek National Parks. A wide range of accommodation is also available in nearby Cairns.
