Shit gear and tricky till halfway up, drop ins after that. All round nice climb.

Ran out of draws so clipped a cam to a wire as a makeshift quickdraw. Thats some big brain shit I tell you!

Repeat. Bailed on the spicy variant finish

Fun little face climb. Climbing is not too bad if comfortable with sport moves although the gear is very thin and small

Chill moves easier than some 20's, thin and spaced gear in the first third.

Few laps

Absolute classic. Actually good gear the whole crux if you do it in daylight. Great keyhole wire in there. Good to not take the crazy whip again! Did this with a random fella from araps who was escaping a party of 3, as was i. Decided of all the splitters he was missing in araps, id take him up one of the most araps style climbs at the crag, like an aussie ordering a fish and chips in the alps.

This send was equal parts: be brave, gear pre-racked in order, and Pedro's pep talk 😅 Sunset sends, loved it.

Again, Will decided to take on the onsight. Much more swearing on this one, alongside the questionable choice of trying to sling the spindly tree hanging a metre behind the route. Having the gear beta made this route a doddle, compared to Will's go which garnered the comment of a Bluey's climber, "you Tassie blokes fly up cracks, but put you on a face climb and... (gestured at Will screaming for all of Boonah to hear.)"

got pumped on the two good crimps above the rooflet trying to place gear. only placed a little nut that i didnt have a lot of faith in. the pump built and i decided that it would be a bad idea to punch up to the jug without a better piece in below the rooflet.

once you know where the gear goes its pretty easy. with power in the tank i could pull all the moves pretty easily. Great climb

Thought this was sick! Tricky balancy climbing to great edges

Nice moves, certainly not 21, just meeting 20 really. Set out with all the wrong rack, and had a real scare fest. Thought I saw the Grim Reaper up there but manged to fend him off for another day with my profuse swearing. At one point I considered slinging or even jumping into the nearby pool noodle of a tree. Really reinforced to me that continuing to run it out expecting a good stance and obvious gear is not a safe way to climb, sometimes you need to stop and place fiddly gear even if it does mean risking falling. Risk falling to climb safely, as counterintuitive as it may sound.

Will's impressive and terrifying onsight lead had me laughing and crying simultaneously on on belay. I was thankful to see that despite much mindless consideration he opted not to use the top of the tree as a gear placement or foothold. Runnout 4m above his smallest nut and frantically searching for he placed two more terrible pieces, sucked in a big chest of air and stormed on, steam blowing from his ears. Perhaps it's a miracle that he made it. Needless to say I opted for the top-rope. Will didn't even take small gear but I made sure to inspect such placements in preparation for the Redpoint burn. Great route, remember your smallest nuts.

Wasn't too hard once I knew what to do.

Always fun. Felt better than most times above the small gear.

Sweeet. Got stung by a wasp halfway up but kept it going

They were looking down.. it was 7pm at night when i arrogantly decided id have a crack at this with a low power headtorch. Missed the rp placements and took a run at the crux anyway, punting about 5m above the last cam, resulting in dads old alien catching a 12m flight. A bruised hip, ego and belayer, were some of the reasons I was to come back the next morning and rap down to collect the gear and see all the holds i missed. An experience for sure. First full whipper on gear.

Couple of laps.

Superb face climbing and movement. RP's were very handy to have (thanks to Jen for letting me borrow them). Felt like being back at Araps. She ain't a 21 though, the guidebook has this at grade 20, which feels more right. Even then it's quite a bit easier than Devils and piranha. Either way it's a mega classic that I wanted to have another lap on afterwards

Actually was surprised to get this clean on second, however the gear is fiddly and has some very akward sections, so maybe will attempt a lead in the future.

It’s fairly easy for a 21 just very heady with small gear but did manage to get two solid totem cam placements

great for practicing the small gear. Took a fair bit of time making sure it was bomb

Small gear technology has come a long way since the FA so the start is a heck of a lot more protectable than ya think 🤪 the gear may be small on this climb but it's always there when ya need it.

Was pretty happy to find jugs after the crux, would be a different feeling on lead I'm sure!

Took a while for me to commit to the starting moves. Lots of small wires, most of the way up, made this climb feel decently comfortable.

A real mental battle for me. Committing moves above small gear but in the end just had to back myself

Boldest trad lead to date. The line is absolute class.

Tried this ~4 years ago as second ever frog lead.. quickly realising frog grades are a little different to well bolted sport routes! Took a while to get back but had a brilliant time! Offset nuts nicely protected the start. Really classy climb

Tried this one on the first few days at Frog and didn't trust my offset nut next to my foot on the lower crux and sat after few trials. Felt a lot more chill the second time

Sweet little face climb. And the rock and pro are fine throughout. I agree with Swan that it's probably 20 at Araps, but it definitely felt a grade harder than Rickety Kate.
