Ascents of East Beerwah

Easy as. Prefer this to the tourist track! Only spicy bit was at the very end where you basically have to do a pull-up (and a bit of exposure) Going down the tourist route afterward was much harder!

Much more enjoyable than the tourist route

Had a stubby haul bag, wire brush in a lanyard, cordless drill, 4 batteries, 2L water, helmet, 510 Guide Tennies. Was a late start after 7:30 turned into a long briefing... Lobster red all over, but enjoyed every second. Yellow paint on a mountain is NOT acceptable, and will be met with resistance, regardless of the intentions of any person who uses a spray can in a National Park.

Easy to get addicted to those red marks.

Descended the tourist route

Always Fun, for the descent is used the main north track and I did not release it is closed due to recent rain fail and increase to possible rock fall.

Tried make it to the top before the sunrise... was close haha

KOM burn. 32 mins from carpark.

Fist time up this East Track. Was a great morning out with great views on the last section before the summit. Took longer to find the start then planned

Whoever chalked the rock every 2mts of this route - I believe the red paint was enough and maybe reconsider this anywhere else

Great track, finished at the top in the rain and wind so geared up for the last bit.

Fun scramble and a good day out. Nice to have the route to ourselves, even while the tourist track was clogged.

A really great climb - easy and with a beautiful outlook. I found it easier than the normal route but coming down was a tad sketchy in places. To find the track walk out of the carpark and head east up the road for about 50-100m there is a small track with a small pile of rocks. Otherwise just get to the base and follow it round till you get to the red paint marks.
