Excellent. The first mixed pitch is a pretty rare style in australia, and the top two pitches each have a rather powerful crux through wild terrain at the grade

Thinner and reachier than its neighbour but also with really fun movement. Bit slippery with holey maestros, will I ever commit to buying a sport shoe? Be careful with that bonsai!

All day type of fun

It wasn’t done in an R1, but it was done in tights. A classic misadventure involving hommus and an odd sense of fashion. An excellent way to climb threadkneedle, especially for those with an aptitude for going off route… anyways what a climb! One of my favourites in Gariwerd for sure (what can I say I’m a sucker for the old classics)

Wow! Led the 2nd pitch and that is classic by itself! Awesome climbing all the way. Route finding is interesting and keeps you thinking! Awesome climb. Awesome runouts.

Filler route. Bolt shouldn't be there. It is hard to clip, off route and ruins the character of an otherwise okay pitch.

Bloody good, some wild positions on pitch 3. Linked 3&4 but it ended up being a bit of a rope drag nightmare haha

Good fun, wandery dicky runout climbing on the second pitch though.

Very fun easy tradventure. Cave belay was cool, the moves out of it were sufficiently protected if you're creative. Just managed to link P2 and P3 with my 68m rope with both rope anchors. P4 was well worth it, had by far the steepest climbing I've done anywhere near this grade on massive jugs. Only loses 3rd star for lack of exposure on the upper pitches.

Superb! First few pitches offer fine friction slabbing and the fourth pitch is gold. Well-protected. Linked 1&2 and 3&4.

Absolutely unreal. The third pitch is the real winner, covering some amazing terrain.

Veared left after second pitch and went straight up the cool orange flack.

Cool climb, my first in the Grampians. Descent was a full blown mission though as we couldn't locate the walking track down

Deserves 3 stars, awesome slab start, some exposed arete climbing and a rad finish

Lowered off pitch 1 slab from the crux. Nick finished the pitch. Probably advanced 3 grades of slab climbing capability in 30m.

Had been eyeing this off for a while, bloody lovely and a little scary

Several attempts to get above the slope hold mantle up to the flake where there are zero good holds ☹️ Maybe just be better next time

Can't claim the flash as I slipped of at the very start but climbed it clean the second time and then again to clean gear

First pitch via Walltower Castle first pitch. Rappelled after second pitch. Loved the aréte short before the finish...

Needed a second start after stuffing up the first attempt and falling on Anthony’s Dragonfly #3 We used this pitch to access the ledge for Grace Before Meals...

Aided the boulder problem to bolt. Then worked the move till I got the send.

Awesome scary climbing with some of the best exposure I’ve been on.

I lead 1/2 as one pitch, Taner lead 3/4, then I lead pitch 5. Went a little too far right on the second pitch and was scary, but just enough gear to keep sane. We couldn't find the redirect for the rap (we tailed an extra rope) so taner had to traverse across to the top of pitch 2. Not sure if we're muppets and the redirect below the top anchor should be easy to find but /shrug.

Get your money's worth for a 9 with those moves out of the cave!

Had trouble with the first move off the ledge but cruisy after that.

Fun day out, amazing climb definitely recommend for a good adventure. Almost had an epic finding out way down after the top out... lesson learnt, better research on the decent.
