Ascents of Another Faustian Dilemma (Left)

Day 13. 95 climbs down and 40 to go.

Hard start and sustained. Went right of crux overhang and up to chains.

Hard start and tricky going right around roof.

Quite tricky at night without a head torch. Almost made it clean.

KP800 challenge

Bottom half, finished on kiwi

Pretty fun but also pretty damn hard for the grade. Kiwi felt easier. Getting to the carrot is a bit of a mind fuck.

Used same anchor as RHV, lot of rope drag over the top

Seconding for Zac's (successful) OS attempt. A couple of sections felt a bit stiff for the grade, but I did deliberately choose to climb a more direct (and therefore harder) version. Watch out for the wasp nests below the roof at the 4th bolt (BR). Overall I found the quality of the climb to be average at best.

Abseil chains added. These chains serve both the LHV (18) and the RHV (21).

Really nice! Except for the holds that disappear from under your hands.
