Ascents of Fast Breeder

Done in 3 pitches.

We change climb to 3 pitches only due to vegetation and build solid anchor on good spots. First and second pitch was 30 m each with good base for belaying. Both first 2 pitches very vegetated. Last pitch 20 m is better except first 10 m due to moss on wall. We all still enjoy climb. Good adventure with lovely view on the end.

Alt with Dave. It gets good for position and adventure. The first and second pitches were pretty vegetated and not good. In the top half I stepped across from the pinnacle to slab a bit earlier than suggested. The last “ 2 pitches” were much better. We did in two pitches total, biking from camp, only 10% chance of rain according to BoM, what possibly could go wrong! The approaching storm was very atmospheric.

Great views, average climbing. Lots of loose blocks and suspect placements. Nice easy belay spots. Take a standard rack and many slings.
