Ascents of One For The Road having Beta

Amazing route, just had to figure out the crux turning the lip of the roof!

Super fun climb, cruised through the first part with some interesting moves but didn't have the strength to get through the roof myself so had a little support with the harness hehe.

The roof is cool, but it hardly makes it a classic.

Climbed with 10kg backpack. Needed 2 attempts to get over roof.

Came back two weeks later to send it — knowing the move out of the roof and how to protect it gave me all the confidence to do it, and it actually felt really easy. A climb that really is all about having the guts to move over the roof!

Absolutely awesome!! The move over the lip is very cool, but it took me a few tries to get it. But the coolest thing of it all is that I took some big falls on a #2 cam that I placed myself, my first falls on gear. And I survived, yay! Will get this clean next time!!

Climbed on top rope, using natural features for anchors. Shady in the late afternoon. Lots of fun!

Lost the onsite when I couldn't find the magical jug and pumped out on the roof. Came back and got it though. So much easier when you know the beta!
