Ascents of Banana Split having Beta

No wonder I got scared, I misread the route and tried to climb the face rather than follow the crack making it way harder on myself. Fell at where I got scared so happy with my decision to bail. Just need to learn to read the route correctly.

All going well until I got a bit scared then pumped then decided to bail. Not ready for whippers yet.

Strenuous if you are not comfortable with hand jamming.

Really fun and easy trad route — only my fourth lead It's still pretty scary to get out of the banana shaped cave using mostly horizontal hand jams! But good foot holds throughout...

Great climb with cool moves after the wide section

Superb lead by Ali with nothing but gear placements straight out of the textbook. For some extra fun just jam the crack at the top without using the jugs.

Scramble to a chimney section that thins out to a nice big flake

Great climb, well protected with some airy and strenuous moves out of the chimney.
