Ascents in Dildo blocks

Yay the penguin Dalek finally went down!🥳the first time I saw it was almost exactly a year ago and I wondered if it was an achievable project. It’s definitely the hardest outdoor move I’ve done and the most effort I’ve put into a climb and it was so worth it, it’s crazy how much trying one move taught me!? I spent a lot of time sitting under this very nice rock❄️☀️it turned out all I needed was a little consistent climbing, a thesis free mind, a little bit of commitment, and the bestest most supportive spotter of course☺️

first move is definitely the crux and was feeling close, it felt good to be trying hard! Did the rest of the climb and it felt pretty easy so just have to catch the first move

slab is hard, I now understand the phrase cheese-grating too well
