Clean Repeat TRS.

After chopping the original (crappy) start, re-jigging the bolts in the upper section, repairing a super key broken hold (that was forcing a weird "round the world" sequence, and meant the crux bolts were all in the wrong place), and developing a whole new (gr21) start, I needed to see if my efforts had borne fruit.

In short, this is now one of my favourite routes on the wall. I'd call it 2nd best after Life of Riley. Its rad that with a bit more route development experience, and a bit of time and effort, this route -that has always frustrated me for having a crappy lower half, and a good but poorly arranged upper half- is now one of my favourite sporty sport routes I've put up.

I really hope this gets more traffic now, because it deserves it.

Incidentally, the gr21 Bottom section (25m to the first anchor) is proper good climbing, and would happily stand next to such contemporaries at Cosmic County.

Baby steps. Ground up high point hitting the LH slot thing between bolts 2 and 3 badly and not being able to move from it. Linking that move from ground feels like the hardest thing. Also linked from break to anchor (in the sun 🥵) something to feel good about 🎉

Reclimbed after several years since the send, nice to feel like a project has become a warm up. The crimps still hurt though.

Heaps fun. Dropped it 2nd attempt getting pumped before the throw (throw aim rightish). Crux to keep mud off the shoes on the starting feet. Very pretty crag.

Non aesthetic, short, skin shredding/sharp, only plus side is the moves out right are cool otherwise just a stupidly small crimp ladder left. Why did I get on this twice? I'm stupid is why, I thought it might have gotten nicer, alas no it was still trash.

Had a blast working this out. First attempts I got confused whether I wanted to head out left or right after the 3rd draw. Worked out the moves going out right but ended up sending going direct. Both great fun

If I get back on quick enough hopefully next go, definitely helped matching and going left at the first crimp

Re-ticking from long ago.

Scenery and climbing are awesome, but still some loose rock in places.

Led the whole thing on gear. Sketchy and run out, better as a mixed route. Interesting exercise though.

Fun again

Pretty stoked to have gotten this. I went back and forth between the crux and the throne 10 times before committing to that right hand thing. Thanks for the patience linna !!

Did the actual start (Flying Spectacles start is better), and tried going outside the cave (inside is way better).

The climbing is nice. Some problems to solve and not too heinous. I think it's 26 though, and not too hard at that

2 hours 20 minute car to car. Slowed down at the raps. Perfect weather for a quick climb 👌
