Balls Head

Description:© (christo): A great roof and some dank, mouldy, shitty climbs with fabulous views across the harbour to the bridge, opera house and city skyline.

Useful Info: The local council has BANNED CLIMBING HERE!!!! (But it is worth a look).
Approach:© (christo): Balls Head reserve is at the end of 'Balls Head' Rd, Waverton. Park in the parking area in the middle of the loop road and walk south, down a series of steps towards the harbour. 'Clocks' is on the far side of the boulder at the bottom of the stairs. Walk around to the left to get to it.
Ethic: inherited from North Shore: Respecting the enviroment and keeping crags clean will maintain a healthy and important relationship between the climbing community, local councils and National Parks. Carry out what you take in and enjoy what the North Shore has to offer.
