Wet in rain
Make sure to take a camera.
Start at back of overhang, follow six ring bolts to lip and fixed carabiners. The first anchor you reach has a new locking carabiner attached to the fixed hanger (old one still there). The furthest anchor needs replacing and should not be relied upon by itself (one hanger is broken and the second has two rusty biners that should be removed/replaced).
- Access Issues:© inherited from Balls Head
Climbing of any kind (including bouldering) has been banned by North Sydney City Council throughout the Ball's Head Reserve since 1996. Please don't jeopardise future attempts to restore access by flouting the ban.
- Ethic: inherited from North Shore
Respecting the enviroment and keeping crags clean will maintain a healthy and important relationship between the climbing community, local councils and National Parks. Carry out what you take in and enjoy what the North Shore has to offer.
If you come across an area that is being developed or you think could be under development, please show all due respect to the developers and do not climb the projects listed on thecrag.com.
