Ascents in In The Trenches having Beta

Cool line of pockets with poor feet, and the obvious line here to my eye.

Bit dirty but there is a great climb there if you brush a bit. 'R' rating is too much, it's fine.

This was looking disgusting and unclimbed in years took a rope and cleaned all the shit out of the wall and it is actually climbable again.

Super good, feel like this one you kinda have to flash a fall wouldn’t be pretty.

Done from sit start, hands matched in first pocket. I enjoyed this climb the most on this wall.

Punchy one mover at the grade. Grabbed the wrong part of the lip.

Underwhelming after the old guidebook frothed on this as one of the best V1's in Sydney.

Fun

Fell from the crimps on the first attempt. Awkward narrow landing! Second time up got hands on the finishing jugs then bailed backwards across the 'trench' as the mantle was covered with leaves, sand etc

Had to try hard for a v2. I quite enjoyed the more static undercling beta.
