Description

A small yet impressive crag offering many climbs for all levels of climbers. Well protected and offering some good challenges Point Clare is well worth travelling to for a climb.

Access issues

Park at the end of Coolarn Ave, Point Clare, where it turns right and becomes Nari Ave. Find the vague track to the left of No.2 which heads up the hill to the crag. Ensure you do not park your car near the crag entrance as it's right on a corner and can create a traffic hazard. Park further down the road and on the grass.

Approach

A short walk up the hill between left of No.2 will find you at the Point Clare crag (Left Crag). The crag extends quite far to the right and partially to the left, up the hill.

1m right of CH

Just left of where the track meets the cliff.

Through the overhang on the left and up the face. Single ring as anchor or top out and walk back down

Up through the cave following the small crack

Pass the obvious crack and follow the rings to the roof and out up the arete

Just to the right of where the path meets the cliff. Obvious hole in the wall is Mr. Window

Left most climb on the wall. Pass the flake clipping carrots and one ring

Through the rings passing right of the 'window'. Apparently a hold has broken around the 3 rd bolt in 2012 making this a little harder and landing the victim with a T 10 #

Line of carrots to the right of Mr. Window

Right most climb on the wall. Through the rings then head right at the top to join the anchors for Master Window

The obvious slabs to the right of the path and Main Wall

Dirty "Chimney" in the corner

First carrot climb on the left.

2m right again. Up through the carrots onto the slab and keep going.

2m right. Up the orange streak on carrots

Last line on the slabs before the arete. Arete is not in.

A collection of overhanging U-bolted lines. One of these is Contrivial Pursuit? I think the topo's are mostly right, but please adjust if required. Wall is fitted with belay bolts.
